I found this via a Scotsman article by Susan Dalgetty. Haven't heard about this? Has anyone else?

Yes, I signed it. Not sure what's happening with it now.

Here's the petition - 2,613 signature so far - www.ipetitions.com/petition/labour-womens-declaration

I signed too. All Labour supporters are welcome to sign (don't have to be a member - or a woman). Trying to get the Labour Party to see sense on this. This gives a bit of background: womansplaceuk.org/2019/09/25/dear-labour-party/

Keep signing and sharing and pushing the Declaration far and wide. Labour staffers will be writing up the manifesto NOW following the Clause V meeting yesterday...the strength of feeling on this issue must force them to minimise the impact of the wording in the document.

I just saw this blog on WPUK by one of the founders of the declaration. It's short and sweet and I wish some of the kids who have no idea what we fought for, would read it. The young blue-haired handmaids have no clue what they're giving away, or why it matters to keep the women's rights we struggled so hard to win, or why we have to keep going.

That WPUK blog is excellent. Please sign the petition if you are able to, and share it far and wide. The last LP manifesto committed to ending the GRA and accepting self-ID. Which would mean an end to women'-only spaces, services, sports and opportunities. Or even the right to meet without men.
