Safeguarding is like soooo 90s right. Why nothing must get in the way of the mightly dick.

Does anyone else find the responses of the tribunal totally nonesensicle. Their main agrument seems to be that he was an ambitious headmaster, who would have been ..er..a headmaster..so...erm.
They at no point seem to address the screwing kids issue. Guess they did not it as relevent..for a teacher.

Having sex with children is OK for teachers now? Right oh

I know those boys were over the age of consent, but they were still kids and Matthew Aplin was a teacher. Teachers shouldn’t be having sex with children. It’s really that simple in my view.

What a strange decision the tribunal made

They were under the age of consent for an adult in a position of care, ie teacher doctor etc.
I presume thats why he was sacked in the first place.

I am in two minds about this ... the individuals were over 16 consenting age - however if he had taught the individuals then I would see this differently.

This is what happens if a female teacher transgresses.
