All the Mumsnet posts about the male fetishists posting pervy reviews of M&S knickers has got in the Sun. Joani Walsh topped off this journalist and he stole her story and didn't credit her: www.thesun.co.uk/news/10350754/marks-spencer-slammed-men-underwear-reviews/

Yuk!
There is a thread running about Primark and mixed sex changing areas. One poster in particular is pushing for penises to have unrestricted access to women's spaces:

Stupiddriver1 · 17/11/2019 11:56

Hmmm. I tried to review an M&S jumper once and said that I thought the quality was shoddy for the price. They refused my review as they said it didn’t meet the required standards. But they let perverts do this.

Gingernaut · 17/11/2019 14:58

Do they not realise, that by pandering to such a tiny minority of the population and ignoring the wishes and needs of approximately half of the same population, they are going to definitely meet financial ruin?

I've just killed a thread about gussets in AIBU, because I revealed the big secret. Only silence since yesterday. Did everyone's jaw drop to the floor, or what? I almost never post in AIBU but I couldn't resist this one...

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3906175-AIBU-to-solve-the-mystery-of-the-flappy-gusset

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 15/05/2020 17:15

A number of our knickers have this grown on ‘floating’ gusset due to design aesthetic.

Normally "aesthetic" means pastel unicorn hair, not a cock pocket in your pants.

AsTreesWalking · 15/05/2020 17:37

I've never been so pleased that I only ever wear boring white knickers!
(Though, obviously, that does mark me out as a sub-standard woman)

Pinkarsedfly · 15/05/2020 17:44

Time to launch the Pervy Pigs.

ABucketOfShells · 15/05/2020 18:01

@pinkarsedfly 😃

*Lamahaha,
Thanks for the heads up, I've gone and added my twopenn'th to the AIBU thread.

Xanthangum · 15/05/2020 19:18

@Lamahaha the original AIBU thread led to a Daily Mail article.

www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8319991/Mother-asks-odd-pocket-crotch-knickers.html

...complete with comments like 'you put your dipstick in it's... Hmm

Gronky · 15/05/2020 22:20

It seems like this isn't a risk restricted to M&S but rather to any retailer that permits underwear returns (and resells returns, can anyone please confirm this part?). Personally, I'd rather take the financial impact of not being able to return in exchange for the guarantee that they're fresh from anyone else having worn them.

AllCatsAreBeautiful · 17/05/2020 16:19

I thought “gender critical” people wanted everyone to be able to wear whatever clothes they wanted, regardless of sex? Why shouldn’t men wear things marketed as ‘women’s underwear’ - and if they’re wearing it, why shouldn’t they review it?

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 17/05/2020 16:32

because trying things on to see if they fit doesn't include wanking into them and then putting them back. I don't want pants that have been 'borrowed' by some fetishist. Other than that, tho, I don't care who buys what pants.

AngryBananaSund · 17/05/2020 16:39

Some people have asked how well returned items are checked, the answer seems to be not very well

RumbaswithPumbaas · 18/05/2020 13:27

It always puzzles me how anyone could be ‘furious’, ‘raging’ or ‘fuming’ about any of the minor, first-world problems, easily resolved by customer services, that the daily mail routinely writes about

RumbaswithPumbaas · 18/05/2020 13:28

Likewise the ‘stunning’ home makeovers using some tile stickers and a pot plant from B&M
