Judge: is it untrue for a transwoman with a GRC to reply 'yes' to a question from a child about whether they are a woman. Maya gives a very qualified answer that I cannot give credit to here, but something like the correct answer would be 'my gender identity is a woman' but not to be untruthful about their sex.

Judge is seeking a bigger court for next week as it is packed today

wow - who is tweeting? This has fair cheered my up.

I was stewing away this mornign as I spotted on the school website that a man is speaking to the kids who is Not A Friend to Women (has also made some very dodgy comments in past about age of consent that have risen up and bitten him on the arse) and the school does have an agenda of highlighting gay/trans rights (and why wouldn't they - buy really, Ferret and Vile and a trans woman discussing how hard getting ahead is in business) - not so much lesbian/women's rights.

So sorry but have had to dash for my train to get the kids from school. Will miss the afternoon. Hopefully someone else can take over reporting on here, otherwise follow on Twitter (link above). All I have to say is Maya is quite remarkable. How anyone could conclude that someone thoughtful, measured, rational and respectful like her should be sacked for believing what science books and the law tells us (and 99% of the population believe) is absolutely chilling.

Given what the college of policing seem to be arguing in Harry’s case, I am surprised there isn’t a policeman in court keeping tally of hate crimes/incidents each time she says they can’t change sex. Actually even having the temerity to go to court over this in the first place is probably a hate offence...

She's also had to leave to do the school run. The irony is strong today! Gutted we can't follow along but I have every faith in Maya, it sounds like she's absolutely crushing it. If she doesn't win this the world really has gone mad.
