I think we are still maybe a good 10 years away from the doc-drama stage I fear. It will take another generation for all the transtrender stuff to pass and perhaps another generation for people to look back and be all 'look at that crazy shit that was going on during the 2010s/2020s'.

So many people have built careers on this stuff, so many people have sunk their reputations into abusing people horribly online confident in their impunity, and so much of the Establishment will face complete embarrassment if not malpractice actions, that this game will have to run for quite a few years yet.

Who is the lawyer against Maya? Maya has one of the best lawyers going and I am so pleased about that.

I think to be fair to the Counsel, you can only work with what you are given. Presumably it is the company’s legal team that prepare and put the case together.

the CGD HR director is on the stand now

according to Twitter he has testified that Maya's view that people can't change sex is incompatible with CGD's corporate values

so facts are incompatible with their corporate values? Yikes. I mean I know people say corporations are sociopathic, but really...

He then goes on to say that as an organisation CGD doesn't differentiate between sex and gender. they work entirely on the basis of self identification

so they would be happily in breach of health and safety legislation in the event that a male with the correct gender ID but no GRC wished to use the ladies toilets in their offices

You can only work with what you're given and it's not her fault the case is pathetic nor should she be expected not to take a weak case. However, it is her fault she misstated one of the provisions of the Equality Act. She shouldn't have done that.

CGD HR director has just said that at CGD Rachel Dolezal would be to all intents and purposes black. If wildwomanwritingclub has recorded events faithfully, Maya's counsel said 'isn't the reality that she's not black', and he has replied the reality is she's black
