Tasnim is 19, I think, and has grown up knowing that her father is serving a life sentence for setting fire to the house where her pregnant mother was asleep along with her mother's sister and mother. They all died. Tasnim survived because her father carried her out of the house and left her in the garden. She grew up with her mother's father. Her mother was 14 when she was first pregnant with Tasnim. Her father was 10 years older. Obviously the arson and murder led to a criminal case, but the sexual abuse and grooming didn't. It looks as if the documentary explores why that was.

I watched this last night.
So very sad, such a horrific story to start life with.
The ripples have only just started too.
