Apologies if already posted, but I did enjoy this: twitter.com/UKLabour/status/1192857931668164608?s=20

I suspect it's too late to break through all the complacent thickery, but it's some ratio.

Oh that thread is brilliant!

HumberHellraiser · 10/11/2019 22:05

Sweet.

Mner2019 · 10/11/2019 23:31

Nice. Disappointing that they rarely interact with the comments on these things. It’s like they are issuing a decree rather than using it as an opportunity to engage with the public or respond to our concerns.

Redshoeblueshoe · 11/11/2019 00:24

That made me laugh.
Labour 0/10

QuantumEntanglement · 11/11/2019 00:52

Well that went down well, Labour. Gratifying that a lot of the respondents calling them on their pro-woman bullshit are men.

DryHeave · 11/11/2019 05:04

What happened in Glasgow?

SarahTancredi · 11/11/2019 07:02

They dont even know what a woman is. So this is bull shit.

testing987654321 · 11/11/2019 07:02

That backfired impressively. Marketing words compared with facts about how they actually treat women.

I don't think they are all bad.

HandsOffMyRights · 11/11/2019 07:09

Brilliant. I'd just keep posting the picture of Corbyn cosying up to Madigan.

Cwenthryth · 11/11/2019 07:21

What happened in Glasgow?

The Labour council resisted/delayed equal pay claims for a decade, spent millions fighting against paying women fairly. It was eventually settled in court earlier this year.

BadgertheBodger · 11/11/2019 07:24

Dryheave Scottish Labour ran Glasgow County Council for a ridiculous amount of time, and have spent a ridiculous amount of energy and money fighting equal pay claims from women they employed. Not a good look

motorcyclenumptiness · 11/11/2019 07:35

for the men-y
Nailed it

mcduffy · 11/11/2019 07:42

The men-y has given me a proper laugh this morning, thanks Grin

MoltenLasagne · 11/11/2019 07:42

They did the same thing in Birmingham as in Glasgow - you'd think they'd learn.

Fandoozle1 · 11/11/2019 08:41

I can’t wait for one of their election campaigners to show up at my door- I have so much to say!

MadnessInMethod · 11/11/2019 08:49

For the men-y
Grin

Brilliant, best comment on that thread.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 11/11/2019 08:51

Oh, the Equality Act that they're currently helping TRAs to use as toilet paper? That Equality Act?

Joisanofthedales · 11/11/2019 08:54

Enjoyed reading that.
I'd forgotten that the union actually took 6% of the settlement in Glasgow despite these women having paid union dues all their working lives, that should have covered the legal costs. At least i think thats what happened. Please let me know if i got it wrong.

Siameasy · 11/11/2019 09:47

Brilliant
Can’t believe that teacher calling people T*RFS. Also getting chewed a new arsehole fortunately. If someone calls me a T-word nowadays I say sweetheart, even my 5 year old daughter is a T get with it

Ummmmcake · 11/11/2019 20:17

But there is no one to vote on. No one. They all do the TWAW crap now. Jeez.

Evenquieterlife33 · 11/11/2019 21:29

Men-y wins the day. It’s gonna be all over the place that one.
