Bit late in posting and have seen that someone has posted this in the thread about the Janice Turner column (thank you for posting it).
Bristol is consulting on its strip club policy - belatedly. It should have reviewed its policy years ago but the licensing committee kept getting delaying it. Finally, about five years after it should have done, it has agreed to review its policy.
Bristol signed up to be a White Ribbon city a few years ago and one of the commitments is to a nil cap for strip clubs. Bristol has a cap of three but only two clubs at the moment (one got shut down for criminal activity). The revised policy is the same as the old one - which allows for one more club to open. Not exactly working towards a nil cap!
Below is a link to a short Twitter thread which has a guide to filling it in, either in five minutes or in one minute (less detailed). It would be great if as many of you as possible could fill it in and ask for a nil cap in the city. Thank you!
