Although in the previous court case Walker said he identified as a woman, he is classed as male by court and prison services and commits his offences presenting as a man.

Shows the dangers of self id. Any sex offender can use it to get into women's changing rooms and toilets. Or refuges or girl guides' trips or prisons or whatever.

I don't get how this beautiful and stunning woman's punishment originally included having housing and a job set up for her.

At the first hearing, the judge made the prosecutor refer to Walker as a woman half way through the case, when he was appearing from a men’s prison and the prison officers had referred to him as a fella. It was like the Emperor’s New Clothes.

It's so great reading an article which is honest on this issue and avoids the use of gaslighting language. It's also slightly reassuring to know the prison service and police treat him as a male because he 'commits his crimes as a male' rather than putting the whole focus on 'not misgendering.'

Fucking transgender female. It makes the story almost incomprehensible - thank goodness for your clear facts PeakedReporter. I don't blame the prosecutor, I suspect the emperor's new clothes effect was having its intended effect of being gaslightingly mindboggling.

Yikes, that twitter thread.... HOW can people say that there is no evidence of transwomen retaining male pattern offending. Case after case after case and just point blank refusal to see what’s in front of them. But no, it’s these people who are the most oppressed. Mr Child Rapist has had such an unimaginable struggle and I should realise how extremely privileged I am by comparison. Sure.

I presume this is going to be recorded as man’s crime because as I understand it (even in the case of rape, an offence which requires a penis, the male sex organ) crimes (which are recorded by sex of criminal), are now being recorded based on how the criminals identify.

Basically making it look like women have suddenly been committing a lot more sexual offences and crime in general than they actually have done. Which is then used to inform all kinds of policies and service provision...
