Labour realises what a woman is as it plans to extend statutory maternity pay to a year

Now this is good! Labour plan to extend statutory mat pay to a year (currently it is just 9 months) which I am all in favour of. That first year with a baby is so precious. But it tickled me to see the 'transphobic' and 'exclusionary' language from Labour's shadow equalities minister (and all-round TRA) Dawn Butler as she talks about 'women' and 'mothers'! Almost like she actually knows that only women can give birth!
