I think these men need to have the opportunity to prove they have changed, that they truly understand they were spouting ignorant bollocks and won't do it again.
What these men need isn’t our problem though is it? This isn’t a case of a daft, gobby teen saying something outrageous and then realizing how wrong it was as he grows up and lives accordingly. This was a fully adult man rape victim-blaming and only lip-service recanting when he wants to run for public office. Nope. Not buying that he’s seen the error of his ways here and not wasting any sympathy on him either.
