I hope other trans people follow Juno Roche, Author of Queer Sex and Trans Power, to this moment of realisation.

Yes, you're authentically trans, as you are actively living as a trans person.

No, you're not a trans woman as that's not in any way "authentic" (as it's not possible).

(Juno doesn't seem at all interested in the impact on women, but this is progress at least!)

I'm guessing this is a change in position for Juno, does anyone know? (What's the book about?)

Is Juno in any way influential? Is this likely to become a more popular view, or is it just one lone voice?

Found the blog linked on Spinster - rather disturbing connection of sexual arousal in a women's changing room, and shocking a young female shop assistant.

Writing about becoming an 'invisible' person over 45, and so on ... gee, did that only just occur to you? Women deal with this All.The.Time

And we get on with it, most of us making a difference to other people.
