Looks like I'm ruled out then - I'm a woman but I don't have a gender identity.

ErrolTheDragon · 06/11/2019 11:40

I sort of hope they get in trouble for excluding Nonbinary XX people.

Koshkat, I hope your use of a disablist term was due to ignorance of its meaning and history?

DerbyshireGirly · 06/11/2019 12:09

@Floisme same, never "identified" as a woman, I thought my two X chromosomes kinda covered me.

koshkat · 06/11/2019 12:53

Errol yes you are right of course that some people see this word as unacceptable. I won't use it again.

I have on occasions used the word 'i*t' online too and been pulled on that as well so I should know better.

Sorry for any offence caused to anyone on here.

Doyoumind · 06/11/2019 12:54

You can identify as a gender if you want to but not as a sex. They seem to have used female instead of women as if women has somehow become a dirty word because they don't mean female at all. They mean women in its incorrect and woke definition.

ErrolTheDragon · 06/11/2019 13:10

Thanks koshcat, appreciate that.

MangoesAreMyFavourite · 06/11/2019 13:14

I feel really insulted by this. Angry
Identify as a woman.... Hmmmm but ok.
Identify as a female ... Wtaf

Natwest, you can do better. Really, you can.

Bezalelle · 06/11/2019 14:43

some people see this word as unacceptable.

It's not that some people see it as unacceptable. It IS unacceptable. Not a matter of perception.
