There was an article in yesterday's Telegraph - John Curtice (worth listening to whatever one's political leanings) on the 50 key Labour marginals the Tories have a realistic chance of targeting. Rother Valley is one of them.

Unfortunately it doesn't blow my mind at all. Labour happily accused hose concerned about abuse victims of being racist. Accusing them of being other types of bigoted in some other way is just more of the same.

Labour could not give a shiny shit about vulnerable people, women or otherwise.

Unfortunately Rotherham is a very safe Labour seat. The Conservatives were second in 2017 but miles behind Sarah Champion (whom I assume was deselected)

Rother Valley is not the same as Rotherham. The Conservatives were 8 points behind Labour there so possibly could take it. In Rotherham Labour had 56.4% to Conservative's 26.4% so every chance this idiot will keep the seat for Labour.

Sorry to go on but I’m so angry at Labour for allowing these dimwits to represent the party. Why should they? What qualifies them? We’re supposed to trust that they will speak on our behalf, and yet we can’t even trust that they will field even a veneer of respectability. I’m actually horrified at the “choice” we are presented with. A Conservative party who do exactly what they always do and fuck over people like me in the process, privatising, cutting services, austerity. Or, the Labour Party. Don’t know what a women is, so woke it’s starting to look like they’ve all been up for 3 days straight on methampetamine, and the grown ups have well and truly left the building.
