I couldn't see a thread discussing this article yet

www.bioedge.org/mobile/view/could-the-threat-of-lawsuits-rein-in-gender-dysphoria-doctors/13267

According to the link a case was won ten years ago when someone claimed that 'affirming' surgery caused an increase in problems and didn't decrease the dysphoria.

I fear the Drs will just ask patients to sign disclaimers so they can't be sued.

Will the disclaimers be worth the paper that they are written on? If unappealing information is not told to patients, they are not in a position to make informed consent.

I think there was a detransitioner who broke an NDA by posting about botched operations on YouTube.

Disclaimers would have to operate under informed consent again wouldn't they and isn't there an ethical question posed so to eradicate any possible legal action?

Anyone giving Botox could ask for a form to be signed, it doesn't mean they should be sued for malpractice.

I hope the house of cards is wobbling now.
