The Times and the Sunday Times are doing fantastic work in publicising these issues. Children being groomed like this is one of the most terrible.

KatvonHostileExtremist · 26/10/2019 22:38

Christ, those stories.

Such a nightmare

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 26/10/2019 22:46

Great article Empress. Thanks.

Terrible case study. Just awful. Terrifying.

Gizmo79 · 26/10/2019 22:51

Poor families. And their future. Where did it all go so wrong?

Thank you for the share token.
I feel so sad for these children and their parents. It’s heartbreaking to read.
Also their parents are blaming the ‘LGBT cult’- which seems worrying. while I understand why they might say that because of the megacharities that centre the T, and because of widespread NHS and other institutional political capture- actually LGB kids and adults are also being sold out by these charities and organisations.

Many of the kids caught up in the trans agenda will turn out to be same-sex-attracted. The interests of the T and LGB groups are in tension-because you can’t recognise or accept homosexuality or bisexuality, if you deny the concept or reality of biological sex. And in the meantime, thousands of kids who can’t comprehend what risks they are taking affecting their physical and mental health, future fertility and normal adult sexual capacity, are being sold a lie, that they can change sex if they take the medical route.

We need Parliament to investigate, because only they can make laws to change this, it is not for the NHS to investigate itself.

It’ll be interesting to see how the meeting goes next week.

TerfTalk · 26/10/2019 23:48

Those poor families and kids. It just feels so hopeless.

JellySlice · 27/10/2019 07:26

The NHS recognises that adolescent brains have not yet developed to make life-long decisions. Why is this being ignored?

From a recent BBC article (yes the woke BBC) on juvenile, ie lifestyle-driven, T2 Diabetes:

Parents battle state-sponsored sterilisation of ‘trans’ children
Karabair · 27/10/2019 07:36

Just awful. They are brave people to make a stand like this.

Why is nobody saying trans is a youth trend? It didn’t exist 20 years ago.

NonnyMouse1337 · 27/10/2019 07:42

That excerpt about children's brains by the BBC is really damning when looked at how children are treated by the trans gravy train.
How ethically bankrupt do you have to be to claim children are capable of making life altering decisions and surgery about their bodies and reproductive organs.... How can persons pushing such an agenda live with themselves??

RuffleCrow · 27/10/2019 07:43

Excellent. I am concerned that this is seen as the work of the LGBT lobby though.

As far as I'm concerned we need to distinguish between the LGB and the T and the sooner the better.

Many of these kids are not only autistic but gay or bisexual in denial and they need all the support with coming to terms with that they can get.

It's a shame that the very network that could give them pride in who they really are has been hijacked in this way with fucking unicorns and glitter everywhere. I'm 38 and i could still do with a real organisation for bisexual women.

As a teenager, fantasising about having a penis was my coping mechanism for fancying girls when everyone I knew thought that was Wrong.

And while i'm here I'm so sick of the invisability of lesbian and bisexual women in society. So many female celebrities say things like "I'm not gay but I've slept with men and women". Then you're bisexual - why is that so hard to say?!

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 27/10/2019 07:45

Thanks once again to the Times and Sunday Times for highlighting the horrors of trans ideology.

It is long since past time a full enquiry was held into the behaviour of the Tavistock Clinic and trans privilege activist groups. I'd also add social media companies to that list.

While I am glad these parents are fighting for their children they should not be in this position. We know human beings cannot change sex. We know teenage girls are particularly susceptible to social contagions. We know there weren't hoards of 'trans' children even ten years ago. We know that miniscule number of children who suffered confusion about their sexed bodies in the past in the vast majority of cases grew out of it at puberty. We know rapid onset gender dysphoria in adolescence and young adulthood is an entirely knew phenomena. We know all this,, the Tavistock know all this, trans privilege activists know all this, politicians know all this, journalists know all this, academics know all this.

That any of this is happening is a damning indictment of our society. Of western society in general. It must be stopped.

Smallblanket · 27/10/2019 07:51

The Tavistock deals with kids under 18. People over 18, still adolescents TIL age 25, will be seen in adult Gender Identity Clinics. My young adult autistic DD was diagnosed with gender dysphoria in a single appt with a mh nurse, paving the way to hormone treatment and surgery. No exploration of why, no consideration of what role her autism might play. The only silver lining is the extremely long waiting times between appointments.

I'm immensely grateful to those parents for what they are doing, and raising awareness. However, parents of young adults have no say at all. We just have to wait on the sidelines, hoping against hope that the clinicians in the adult clinics hold some ethical responsibility for the treatments they are prescribing.

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 27/10/2019 07:59

Also their parents are blaming the ‘LGBT cult’- which seems worrying

It is worrying that homosexual people are being tarred with the same brush in too many circles. It was also both predictable and predicted, not least by homosexual people, especially lesbians, themselves. It's why so many of us are pleased to see the launch of the new LGB Alliance even if we are not LGB ourselves. LGB people fought long and hard for acceptance and basic rights. To see support for them slipping away, as has already been measured in the US, because of the T is heart breaking. T really is for Trojan Horse.

HandsOffMyRights · 27/10/2019 08:07

Thanks for the share token.

Absolutely heartbreaking and scandalous what these poor children and their families have been subjected to.

I hope that the adults who encourage and participate in this abuse are prosecuted one day.

My thoughts go out to these families Flowers

Nappyvalley15 · 27/10/2019 09:16

I am sorry the parents have to do this but I am glad that they are. It must be heartbreaking seeing your child struggle and having trusted medical professionals to do the best thing for them see them make things worse. The medics involved in this work should be very ashamed of themselves and really consider their position.
