Filling in a form from my local council, felt the need to amend their wordingHmm Can anyone condense my scribbles to a more concise and pithy response I could use in the future?

Your changes look good. However, if the aim is equalities monitoring, they need to be asking about protected characteristics - which should be sex and gender reassignment for this section. As it is, they seem to be asking the wrong questions and may be breaking GDPR rules.

There's some good information in the link in here

looks fine to me, other than I'd be sorely tempted to add to add, 'but I identify as 21' just to rub it in.

But yes what ETD says, as it's about equalities monitoring, they probably need their legal obligations pointing out to them.

I have a form I have to fill out regularly at work and it asks for gender (when it should be sex), I always cross it out and correct it, my colleagues asked I would do this and well.... let’s put it this way my views are now well known!
