Hmmm... interesting. I wonder how many years of hard labour community service the folks at Stonewall will get for Lesbophobia. 🤔

Still crime though, right? As in a criminal offense aggravated by prejudice, such as those utter bastards who beat up that poor lesbian couple on the bus. Absolutely behind that. Absolutely 100% behind stiff prison sentences for anyone who gets their yayas assaulting anyone because they look different or because they're a threat to toxic masculinity. None of this ever committed by GC women. Never. Even threatening physical harm to someone is utterly disgusting (although happens on a daily basis on Twitter and the police don't care.)

'Hate incidents' - like misgendering, using the wrong name, being a lesbian who says no when asked for sex, that kind of thing.... not a crime, a difference of political opinion and often muddled perception of what is offense and what is being unable to cope with someone else not complying. Answer to that one is psychological support with understanding other people's boundaries and theory of mind, and developing stronger resilience.

Ludicrous and alarming.

'The guidelines, which judges and magistrates must follow unless they can show doing so would run against justice, are the first to apply to public order offences – which include the offence of ‘stirring up hatred based on race, religion or sexual orientation’.

This is the only public order offence for which offenders can be convicted for what they say, write, broadcast or post on the internet or social media.'
