I've never posted on this board before so apologies if this is the wrong place for this.
My 12 yr old DD sent me this today as her female friend of the same age sent it to her. It really pissed me off and I told her that alternatively she was a strong egg and only accepted a worthy sperm. I am not entirely sure whether I am taking offence unnecessarily but why does her conception have to be male focussed beyond the biology of the occasion.
She obviously just found it funny but I'm trying so hard to educate both my DC's (girl and boy) in equality etc that this sort of subliminal messaging hacked me right off. Rant over
