Trisha Paytas' declaration

I was waiting for this to come up but haven't noticed it yet: sorry if this is a repetition.

I had never heard of this female before, but my 22-year-old daughter brought her to my attention.

I sat through her declaration of ftm, and, have to say, my impression was of a genuine woman who doesn't get this whole gender thing, much like most of us. A woman who does not, in fact, feel all feminine or, god forbid, 'cis'.

She is famous apparently, but has been called out for her hysterical outburst as, apparently, it was fake...

She has announced an apology, but still maintains that she identifies as a gay male drag queen.

sorry this is link to declaration, whilst above is critism of said declaration.

She's doing it for attention and the resulting clicks.

Trisha Paytas basically makes a living out of being controversially dramatic on the internet. She's also come out as black before (yes, seriously!).

I really don't think there's anythinh deeper going on here as her studying trending topics and deciding to hop on the bandwagon and create some controversy for business reasons.

That's just her job.

she may be an attention seeking youtuber but if the rules are acception without exception then those are the rules.

Fair point, I agree!

In this sense, "yay for men*!"

  • may include women looking to maximise their online ad revenue

Rose of Dawn is (rightfully) enjoying the opportunity to point out the hypocrisy.

Yes "Zana", that was my feeling, though RoD explains it much better than I do. It shows a definite inconsistency after people of all kinds have had their proclamations accepted. It's almost as if those who are criticising TP are exercising some critical thinking.
