I get the impression that Stephen Nolan is not a True Believer.

He was the one who hosted the initial discussion with McKinnon.

And then Nolan said on air the next week that McKinnon had refused to appear with Williams. He said it several times, thus sinking the BBC official line of "Williams chose not to appear".

It seemed deliberate at the time. A refusal to collude in the lie. Good on him.

I used to work in commissioning at the BBC. It's a very small team, so 4.8% probably equates to 1 person.

4.1% identifying as transgender. That makes 6 people identifying as transgender.

6.3% gay men. That makes 9 gay men in total in the department.

1.4% lesbians. That makes 2 lesbians in the department.

John Humphries did a 30min slot rrom 8.30 to 9am on Today about the transgender debate/identity politics which ended with words to the effect that it was the future and we had to get used to it.

I have spent a fruitless morning looking back at threads from FWR to find a thread on it - I am sure there was one because it was at a time when there were live threads following any mention on the BBC - but nada.

I'm not a John Humphrys fan, let alone a Daily Telegraph fan, but I'm glad it's on the front pages and will, possibly, be a talking point for people.

Apparently, he's "at it again", which is a surprising headline given he's not been at it before. The comments are full of the reasonable debate we have come to expect from trans activists.

Of those two lesbians I'd be interested to know if either is female, as I doubt a female calling herself lesbian at the BBC would be able to stay very long.
