Sorry if this has already been posted about, but this came up on my feed today and I found the judge's comments really chilling.
I understand the idea of a right to family life, but surely no one has a fundamental right to sex? Having sex relies on there being someone else in the world who wants to have sex with you, and also finding and meeting that person in the right circumstances. Noone has a right to someone else's body.
I feel like the judge's comments come from a really quite dangerous ideological position. I'm not so much commenting on the case either way, but I really feel that the judge's language is very odd and potentially damaging.
