Interesting tweet by Bob Withers, psychoanalyst, who spoke to Peter Jenkins, CEO of the Tavistock, at the Tavi's Annual General Meeting.

I hope Mr. Jenkins means it when he says he takes these concerns seriously and will look into it further. If you go to his Twitter @PaulJThinks, there are more tweets and screenshots from the meeting about the Tavistock's work in schools.

It boggles the mind no doctors or researchers have been reading r/detrans. I sub to read it. I think most of them are young women but there have been older people who got surgery/hormones 10+ years ago. There seems to be an increasing number of (gay) men either on HRT or also SRS who regret it and detrans. One was trying to get euthanasia in Switzerland and another young man who'd had SRS killed himself. Their personal accounts are heart-breaking. It's ironic a community that relies on sob stories and public pity ignores all these people.

I suspect older men, especially older than gen X, aren't heavily involved or knowledgable about what goes on in places like Reddit or even Twitter. That they might totally miss things that predominantly are happening there follows from that.

I wonder actually if that's why some of these doctors don't seem to really get the kinds pressures driving a lot of the kids they see.
