Anchorage Women's Shelter Victory

A Women's Shelter has won it's case to only allow biological women to sleep overnight in its accommodation. This startling piece of common sense cost the city of Anchorage $100,000 as they had to pay the shelters legal fees. The story is covered by two different factions:

I don’t see any way that person a saying person b is male will ergo cause person c to kill person b.

If person c already wanted to kill person b because they are a psychotic bigot who hates gender non conformity/trans people, person a pointing out that person b is actually male or actually female will not impact that.

Actually the argument I've seen is that by identifying transwomen as male women cause homophobic men to murder trans women. Because obviously raging homophobes of the kind who commit murder because of it place deep value on the words of radical feminists, and it would never have occurred to such a man to consider a transwoman male if Janice Bloody Raymond hadn't said so.
