As I do from time to time, I popped onto dear little Ady Harrop's twitter timeline today (NB opinions all his own and nothing at all to do with his doctoring. Just to be clear, in case the GMC look in.)

He is tweeting stuff to a near-vacuum; his nasty misogynistic/TRA/offensive opinions are being openly challenged and even the stuff he is retweeting is being decried for the bullshit it is.

Watching these people lose their minds when presented with people pricking their bubble is quite fun. "Sod off" is as eloquent as it gets.

They went too far. Most people are pretty much live and let live until the demands become so ludicrous. The more this stuff spreads into mainstream news the more they see how the general public aren't buying it.

Also Harrop is toxic now, he's destroyed his reputation beyond repair. Sometimes he tweets good stuff about health, NHS etc as a doctor but I just read it and think you are a misogynist, and you don't know what a woman is!

One of the threads I read was like an overtired toddler trying to argue their case.

This is always such a revealing comment. I believe there have been 18 black trans women murdered in the US this year. Now, obviously that is 18 too many and I have every sympathy for them and their families, but but stats on natal black women's murders aren't mentioned at all by the same people. I have no idea what the number is this year, but if you try find stats for previous years, its in the thousands.
You'd think all these people who supposedly care so much about intersectionality would be aware of that, horrified and raising just as much awareness , but I've never seen it. Not once.
