Radio 4 have given Topshop Travis an hour to propagandise.

Surely Travis has as much right to be heard as anyone else? If he hasn't got anything interesting to say or if he's a crap speaker then he won't be asked again.

Travis doesn't have ANY "right" to be on Radio 4. Travis is a male who thinks it's a right lark to dress up as a teenage girl and bully TopShop staff into letting "them" into the female changing rooms.

The content of the programme, that is the archive recordings, related to gay people and their spaces. The comments by Travis and those he chose to speak with to accompany the archive clips were largely about trans people and transphobia. Not archive, but an interpretation about what's currently going on.

The second half of the programme focused on gay people not being welcoming to people with trans and non-binary identities. It even included complaining about unwelcoming gays being "right wing".

Also, Travis has a weird fucking fetish about dressing up as a teenage girl.

I can't even hear Travis's name without thinking of Spaced.

If there was to be one lesson I would have expected the BBC to have learned from the past couple of decades it would be not to give a media platform and influence to people who have sexual fetishes around children.
