BBC updates their story on domestic violence murders

I originally read this story early this morning and although it named female victims, it made reference to 'people's being murdered in domestic incidents without pointing out the majority are women. I wanted to post on here about it but didn't have time.

They've now added in a sentence to state this so must have received complaints. Why on earth wasn't this included in the original version?

'People' not 'people's. Auto correct again.

It always says that " suspects are predominantly male."

Shouldn't that be 'overwhelmingly male'?

I noticed that OP - started this morning by talking about people but by tonight, being very clear that it is women being murdered by men.
Facts are very inconvenient for woke organisations like the BBC aren't they?

Thanks for posting this I thought the same, deliberately not saying it how it is.

I heard it on Radio 2 this morning and they had someone (professor I think??) talking about this. She basically said that knife crime against men/ boys was in the news far more often, but that the statistics showed that violence against women in the home and by relatives was a huge problem. Obviously she was more eloquent.
This point was made in the headline which made me listen to the report.

I also saw this but then I’ve seen the report in a few different places today and all were similarly worded. In fact a couple had ‘even’ pics, one murdered man/ one murdered woman. Which I didn’t think represented the situation as it is reallyHmm
