It seems that a transwoman was asked to leave the women's changing room.
Now it has emerged that this person has a 'comedy act; where they talk about being a schoolgirl and playing with themselves.

I have had a deletion on the first page. Goodness knows what for. I think it was a post where I said I didn't find any of Darcie's act funny but qualified that by adding that I don't find any stand- up funny and mentioned that for example that I don't think Hannah Gadsby is funny either.

I am sure I did not misgender Darcie because , other than JY , I never do.

It is a very difficult situation to deal with, and that's in good part why women's boundaries are being eroded so successfully. Women are socialised not to upset people, it's embarrassing for everyone when an obvious male has to be told they shouldn't be using a woman's space, and the majority of women would probably rather have other women quietly and angrily leave than deal with an obviously dodgy male kicking off at them. Men having tantrums is a scary experience and many women know well the risks of ending up being thumped by one.

Perhaps getting out a bit more might help - they've just had a lovely hundred quid windfall, so, they could take a wee trip to DPs for a new frock. That's nice. And now that there's precedent, they could get changed in the single sex space and feel all validated. How cheering for them.

It's widely described as Prick News by many LGB people, exactly because it is so male centred that it only supports and validates lesbians who accept the moral and political duty to include people with penises in their sex lives, and tries to redefine lesbian as homogenderal rather than homosexual. It actively speaks out against women defending their right to homosexuality.

Are you aware of the cotton ceiling and the long history of this particular newspaper's homophobia?

@Michelleoftheresistance no I am not I am a trans woman who had had surgery but I can't say in the 10 years I have been using woman's changing rooms and bathrooms I have never had any issues but If I did I would kick up such a such as seek compensation or damages because there are laws to protect us from such discrimination and harassment

There are laws to protect women and girls from discrimination and harassment too.

This individual's openly available online history demonstrates interest in being around women and girls in a state of undress that is fetishistic. Women and girls are not props to be used in this way. This is one of the reasons women are becoming increasingly determined to protect single sex spaces and resist the situation of any male with any agenda being able to identify into their spaces to use them in this way.

You might want to look up the cotton ceiling and how the TRA political lobby and that newspaper in particular treats lesbians and the discrimination and harassment against women that this entails.

This might inform you a bit better about why women are angry and resistant to male born people in their spaces rather than the assumption they're all a bit mean and daft.

The front page has 28 stories and 1 direct positive story about lesbians, the only other lesbian featured is Martina Navratilova who apparently changed her position and said trans women should be included in women's sport at all levels (is that accurate?) and 11 covering trans issues. It is clear who they want to represent.
