Claim it was consensual because they are so irresistible.

On the plus side New York have prohibited police from having sex with people in their custody.

It’s shocking they had to bring in that prohibition. Surely they should never have been allowed to do that?

Maybe they never thought men people would do it? How much legislation is “men did something horrendous which we never even thought about legislating against but now we have to”?

I read that article on the bbc. It said they have now closed the loophole that allowed police to have consensual sex with people in custody. A loophole.

I wonder how many women have been raped by policemen with the promise of a reduced sentence or charge? It makes me feel physically sick

I wonder which US police force is tge most corrupt? LA and NY used to end up in the Crap Cop Superbowl every year, but there must be contenders elsewhere - thinking of the thousands of unprocessed rape kits and DWB/WWB shootings in particular.

I know in the UK it's a pretty tough competition between South Yorks and the Met, but I suspect West Yorks (yes Leeds, I'm looking at you with your 'managed prostitution zone' and your Mesmac and Mermaids chums) are in the running.
