Where has R0wantree gone?

Have I got her name right? I hope so. She's been on so many FWR threads and I've been so interested in her posts - but she doesn't seem to have been around for a while. Have I missed something? Is she ok?

I think she's dealing with real life at the moment. And probably taking a break in order to concentrate on that.

Thank goodness that she hasn't joined the ranks of those brave feminists who've been picked off in the dark, never to be seen again.

Honestly, sometimes it feels as if we're recreating one of those sinister Agatha Christie books. You know the kind of thing, a group of us meet together in a massive mansion, then gradually women start to disappear, never to be seen again.

The way the banning system works they don't even have a chance to say goodbye and exchange e-mail addresses via DMs to keep in touch with friends. Just here one day and gone the next. It's very upsetting.

All this tiptoeing over abusive egg shells builds up the suspense. Until the ominous feeling grows and you're just waiting for someone to let out a piercing scream that will bring us all running to stare in horror at the body they just found underneath a dust cover in the attic.

Anyone else hearing a creepy soundtrack building?

She is so good at cross-referencing and linking related thread. When I see her in action I imagine her pulling giant levers and pressing buttons, steam hissing and sparks flying in the Mumsnet Engine Room, as the links uncoil and join the threads Smile
