Malcolm Clark just published a couple of twitter threads talking about gender ideology in Brazil and claiming that it should take a portion of the blame for the rise of Bolsonaro

I'm curious if anyone else knows anything about this, especially if there are any Brazilians who post on here? I'm just interested really. I didn't know before about protesters burning an effigy of Judith Butler

They also burned an effigy of former president of Brazil Fernando Henrique Cardoso.

I would also love to hear more about this from anyone who knows more. The only news articles I have seen describe it as a ‘far right protest’ but one of the sources was Buzzfeed and they recently did a massive piece on the Guardian being super TRAs phobic so 🤷‍♀️
