Hi. Could anyone direct me to the best "starting point" type articles about the transgender/self ID debate? I was chatting briefly to my mum about it earlier (she had no idea that it was even possible to self-identify) and I could do with some articles that explain it all much better than I can...

I agree his pieces summarise the issue well.

Also Janice Turner in The Times though they are behind a paywall.

WPUK have recordings of speeches at meetings some are great. For a beginner I have found Kristina Harrison’s explanations clear and more powerful to someone new to the debate because they come from someone trans.

AH.. probably yes. Names ( and spellings in general ) are not my best point.

Julie Bindel has written some excellent pieces for UnHerd, they are free to read.

FPFW have done some excellent comprehensive work, but I wouldn’t necessarily point someone to them as a first point of call.
