A bit of hopeful news around el Salvador draconian abortion laws, or at least the part where they like to put women in prison for miscarrying.
The existence of these laws in the first place is grotesque and this woman served 33 months already.
Rights groups have managed to get multiple of these convictions overturned, clearly demonstrating that they are about punishing women, misogyny, more than any kind of justice.
Posting for info, in case anyone was not aware of her case and others like it.
