I’m a Grandmother !
DD has just given birth to her son, I didn’t even get chance to get to her as planned, just sat at the hospital waiting to see them, she is currently being sutured, a 6 hour labour from waters breaking!

DD and baby Ezra are doing brilliantly, ward is very quiet so she has snagged a private room to stay the night and hopefully get feeding established. From booking in at the MLU to pushing him out in the birthing pool was 45 minutes 😱
Her partner can stay with her tonight so we’ve come home to let them settle in.

The Midwives and nurses were brilliant, proper Woman-centred care as it should be.
