What has the world come to?

Explicitly stating men are welcome to enter women's spaces and 'support' them after suffering horrendously at the hands of other men.

Hmm ‘lived experience of womanhood’ can mean anything these days.
The bottom line for me is abused women don’t need the added stress of acquiescing to other people’s dysphoria/ needs. Openly advertising for men to support abused women in one to one counselling whilst stating the applications are open to women only. Bollocks.

@Wurzelsnewhead

I despair that this is true. How did it become so convoluted that 'woman' means anything other than adult human female.
It seems to no longer exist. It's now only an afterthought to the word cis or trans.

Our erasure in action.

Our ‘attempted’ erasure in action 😀.

@Wurzelsnewhead

Yes! Thank you. Grin You're absolutely right, this won't last.

It is a frightening thing to be aware of this. Margaret Atwood seems to have been entirely right about the way the world is going but we won't let it.

This is horrendous. I feel so angry and sad. Why are women's basic human rights being trampled on because some man wants to be validated?

UK case law is very clear that any man who does not have a GRC should be treated in the same way as any other man.

@SheWhoMustBeSilent do you have a link to the case law, I hadn't heard about that.

Don't forget that Rape Crisis Scotland is run by the man who is Mridul Wadhwa:

I believe Wadhwa is a manager at Forth Valley Rape Crisis - don't know who runs Rape Crisis Scotland.

It looks like this "women's" project is in fact just part of a Paisley wide health project so quite likely it doesn't operate as an autonomous women's group. www.activecommunities.co.uk/content/about-who-we-are/

But what is sad is the fact that there are other Kairos Women's Groups / spaces in other parts of the country who are autonomous women's groups but many now be seen to be part of this one. eg kairoswwt.org.uk/
