This cheered me up a bit. I wish we could have had such openness about periods when I was their age.

This is also interesting. No irony from the normally woke Beeb as they report back on single-sex spaces in Turkey in glowing terms...although two things I noticed: a) emphasis on this being necessary for cultural reasons ie bc men would not otherwise allow women to attend mixed sex gyms (rather than the idea that women might prefer it) and b) interview with the besuited woman who was critical of the idea as it wouldn’t lead men to change.
