Great thread about issues that only affect female bodies

I've just noticed this excellent twitter thread, all about issues that specifically affect only women and girls, due to our biology. It is a really useful resource for anyone writing about the current issues, contacting their MP etc. I don't think it's been posted here before. (I saw it linked from Jack's thread for gender critical men to share their stories):

This thread exemplifies the brutal reality of what female biology means for millions of women, the parts of what being a woman actually entails that TW don’t want to share or even acknowledge.

There are a lot of dodgy links in there like the Indian no girl village - that statistic has been called into question, there was also a no boy village in that region around that time and it’s not even clear that it was correctly recorded - and the medical student link, it’s not like they’re drugging patients to use as test dummies. Medical students participate in necessary medical procedures, that’s how they learn.

Medical students participate in necessary medical procedures, that’s how they learn.

Which is fine if the patient has agreed to it. And very much not fine if they know nothing about what has happened to them whilst they were unconscious.

It's a shame that's all you got from the thread Boggles but fair enough.

I haven't checked all the links but I don't see any noticeably dodgy sites. I see it as more of a starting off point for anyone writing about these issues in particular. People can research into the topics further and check references and sources.

This thread is particularly useful because it lists lots of medical conditions that only women and girls experience. These are all things the TRAs want us to forget about and not talk about. Our biology unites us and is often the reason women can help and empathise with each other, for example why most women want female doctors and midwives, why most (if not all) women want their support groups to be women only. Our biology is the main reason for our oppression so it helps to see it laid out so clearly all of the things many of us have to suffer with daily. Men can never experience any of these conditions however they identify and that is one of the many reasons we need to keep female only spaces.
