JY waxing case - some questions on the outcome.

Hi all

Have been reading the threads on JY's waxing with great interest.

Does anyone know when the first judgment in the series of claims brought by JY is due? Has the Tribunal given an indicative timescale?

Does anyone know how and when the judgment will be published? How can we look out for it?

Does anyone know if its the same tribunal hearing all of JY's complaints? If no, then does anyone know if the later tribunals will be bound by the decision of the first tribunal?

Sorry for the barage of procedural questions.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

He's a fetishist. Discussing certain things with women present arouses him. Hence his bizarre comments in court about women needing to use tampons when they have their genitals waxed because the process makes them wet. He has a menstruation/tampon fetish at least, likely others including paedophilia.

I feel he must also have some kind of mental illness as most people would be able to keep their fetishes under wraps in a courtroom.

Expecting logical behaviour from a mentally ill fetishist is pointless. He has self identified as a woman and therefore Canadian law gives him protection against discrimination, because the law is recognising a delusion as a legal fact.

I'm not altogether surprised that unpicking this mess is going to take a while.

The mainstream media in Canada is (late in the day) beginning to cover this. I think it’s been posted before, but here’s a piece by Rex Murphy in the Post (somewhat like the Telegraph). Murphy is also a long-time CBC commentator and had, for a long time, a very popular Sunday call-in radio show (now retired from that). nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-b-c-groin-waxing-case-is-a-mockery-of-human-rights/amp
