Shouldn’t the first treatment be working with the brain to try and help an individual accept the physical reality of their body?
I just don’t believe there is such a thing as a trans child-though happy to be corrected on that. All I see are adults telling children they are trans....

Completely agree with your last post oldcrone.

The first thing I think the service would like to get across is that gender should be seen as a spectrum

If the service would like to get their point across, they should start by explaining what they mean by 'gender' and 'spectrum'.

If gender is a spectrum, why are we enabling people to jump from one box to another?

Also if you replace "gender" with "personality" then everything seems much simpler!

These narratives are all about the wrong body/discomfort rhetoric. When will politicians begin to talk about those who are not "distressed" but merely want to dress up or coopt a different identity?
It's as if they really don't read the zeitgeist.

As yet, there have been two Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health appointed by Boris Johnson. They are Johanna Peta Churchill (who I know nothing about) and Nadine Dorries (who I wish I knew nothing about)

LOL Red

Have you seen any update on this- who has taken over this part of Doyle-Price’s brief?
