In the year 2018 - 2019 there were more than 57,000 cases of rape reported to police in England and Wales, only 886 of those case resulted in charges being bought. The article makes the point that rape has essentially been decriminalised. How did we get here?

We know this. Many many women never report and we are treated like this when we do. The patriarchy at war with women. Utterly horrifying
