What a surprise. First Penny Mordaunt assures Pink News she’s about to announce, then surprise it isn’t happening and like magic she disappears.

However she left it is far too enormous a coincidence that a matter of days ago she was assuring Pink News they would announce and now the exact same day she leaves - a predictable possibility given the Boris takeover - her office announces a delay.

For a feed which says it has over 195,000 followers, the PN tweets are amazingly un-replied to - just the odd comment or so.

Even this one about GRA reform is very lightly trafficked, and the vast majority are gender critical. There are of course a couple crazed bowling's, but they just look deranged amongst the normal comments.

This is no different to the story they published a couple of weeks ago. Its not really news.

But yes the news that yet another Women and Equalities Minister has been got rid of, means that the civil servants, well schooled by the trans activist network in Parliament will be able to carry on as they want.

Given it is PN, renowned publisher of all things distorted, perhaps we should give no credibility to anything that rag distributes?

She never promised the results would be made available soon. It was obvious she was saying it wont happen until the next Parliamentary sessions.

The problem is no on the Tory Party wants to be the Minister for Women and Equalities. It is always taken on as a second job. Penny Mordaunt was committed to being Defence Secretary.

The other thread is about Penny Mordaunt leaving. This one is about the Pink News article claiming GRA reform has been kicked into the long grass.

The titles may be different but they are both about the GRA.

She said hoped. Everyone knows that if a politician says that it wont be happening. As most on the thread started then said.

Maybe we will be really lucky and Rees Mogg will take ove the role.

Wonder if they’re sifting through the responses to the consultation and realised the proposals are about as popular as Julie Bindel at a student union

I discussed this about a year ago with R0 on the longstanding PN thread.

For a site that claims to be a leading LGBT news source their interaction rate is in the toilet (except when they say something resoundingly stupid).

This leads me to think that a proportion of followers are likely to be bots and solidifies my opinion that they are a political lobby group masquerading as media.

‘In due course’ sounds like government speak for ‘no idea possibly never’.
