What worries me about this is the backlash from actual far right bigots and those unconcerned with human rights. If the likes of the Guardian and Left wing and centrist MPs won’t allow a proper discussion of the obvious rights conflicts and issues, there are plenty of those like the Trumps who are happy to jump on this.
