Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

AIBU to think I have out woke them? Gender (not sex) on Oracle HR form. [edited at OP's request]

So I was browsing around my Personal Details to make sure everything my employer holds is up to date. I had previously asked HR / Oracle to change the field to Sex not Gender - no reply. At the same time, Diversity and Inclusion seems to be the trendy corporate band wagon to be in. So today, in my details, under the 'Comments' section, I put:

^I am Gender-Free. Although my biological sex is female. [Employer Company] may want to consider changing the Oracle form so that the field is sex not gender, in order to be inclusive of ALL employees (who fall into either of the two sex categories). Only having 2 genders to pick from is not inclusive. For example Facebook has 72 genders and the number of genders is ever expanding.
For the purposes of accurate data gathering and inclusiveness, the field should be sex not gender.^

Let us know if they reply

Oooh nice. Let us know if they reply. Putting in the bit about 72 genders is great as they can have a nice short form with 2 genders or a very silly long list. Alternatively they could have space for gender to be written how you feel - useless as you could write anything.
