I just cannot get my head around the fact that there's an autogynephile trans woman tweeting a vid of themselves wanking to the title 'wanking in the girls toilets' and it's been doing the rounds for DAYS and it remains.

Say the wrong thing and you're gone in seconds.

The fucking hypocrisy of it and no, I'm not linking. Feel sick to my stomach.

Rant over Angry

But, and I've only just spotted this, they ran a quick survey to ask where it would be hotter to do it - the men's or women's toilets.

< I love the way women can treat the grimmest of situations with humour. Let the sunlight in, point and laugh at the ridiculous.

TurboTeddy · 21/07/2019 17:20

This one isn't trans either according to twitter, just another pervert like JY. Hmm

Michelleoftheresistance · 21/07/2019 17:37

If they wish to identify as trans as they enter a woman's space they are trans. As trans as anyone else.

Since you can't challenge any male entering a woman's space because the presumption must be that anyone doing so is trans and to challenge them is offensive, they are making a self identification purely by the act of walking in.

The issue therefore is, is it really fine and ok and respectful of women and women's rights for some trans people to use their access to women's spaces and the presence of 'other' women as unwilling props in their personal sexual exhibitionism, and to plaster their fetish all over social media? And what should women do about this? Because the 'this will never happen' insisters are looking pretty stupid right now.

WelshMoth · 21/07/2019 17:40

Exactly. I haven't yet reached the stage of dry humour over this.

Gender identity politics and its supporters say that this person is trans. Thanks to their huge push, they are trans and we cannot object.

This is the mess we are in.

TurboTeddy · 21/07/2019 17:47

Agreed Michelle. It's interesting watching the "this never happens* brigade turn themselves inside out to avoid admitting that self ID is a bad idea.

At this rate of disavowal Stonewall will be able to trade the golf sized trans umbrella for a cocktail umbrella.

Re the not being deleted.... I saw this earlier and my first instinct was to report it. But then my second thought was - no, I want this to stand so people can see exactly why we are concerned, and exactly what type of person we're dealing with here.

Same reason I deliberately didn't report a TRA recently who was being particularly aggressive and abusive about "Terfs". Maybe other people are thinking the same too. Bring on the sunlight...

FormerMediocreMale · 21/07/2019 18:24

That t-shirt logo for MB is hilarious. Maybe with "I'm a Jeremy H*" on the back?

littlbrowndog · 21/07/2019 18:57

How is that vile vid still on twitter

Ffs

ZebrasAreBras · 21/07/2019 19:01

I think this is probably the same one that turned up on my twitter timeline this morning. I was Shock Hmm but a lot of gc women were replying or retweeting it - it's good to raise awareness. Because this is what we're talking about if we get rid of women-only spaces. People free to do this.

"Students should be able to access facilities that align with their gender or that they feel most comfortable using. This should be stated in publicly available policies.
Staff and students should be reminded to never challenge a student’s choice of facilities."

—Stonewall, Delivering LGBT-Inclusive Higher Education, 2019

Michelleoftheresistance · 21/07/2019 19:16

Staff and students should be reminded to never challenge a student’s choice of facilities.

Ok. There's a right. Where are the responsibilities?

Is sexual enjoyment of/inappropriate sexual use of facilities and others in facilities an integral and necessary part of the protected characteristic?

If it isn't, how do women deal with a student who misuses their choice of facilities to exercise their sexual enjoyment?

How are equal rights to be safe and treated with respect going to be enforced? Women appear to have been told where their boundary is; what reciprocal boundary can they expect in turn?

And I know it's old fashioned, but where exactly are the facilities for the disabled/ people of faith and culture/ traumatised/ wanting basic privacy from male bodies women that they are entitled to under the EA, or is this a case of one protected group trumping others while some women are actively excluded from women's provisions? And where please is the law this is based on?

LassOfFyvie · 21/07/2019 19:22

An aside but did anyone who complained about Mhairi Black's video get a response? I didn't.

GirlDownUnder · 22/07/2019 06:37

I bumped into the original tweet while looking up JY stuff earlier. I will burn my hard drive later.

I was trying to go back to the tweets to check the ratios and comments because they were surprisingly heartening for GC, and hightlight exactly why women (the original kind) don’t want transwomen in our bathrooms.

The original profile name from the OP link has no content - mobile.twitter.com/abkazias

I have found a second profile for this user though - mobile.twitter.com/sloobi4
(All content is under Caution: This profile may include potentially sensitive content. So no surprises it's NSFW and is grim).

And third profile mobile.twitter.com/ZELDACR0SS

(All content is under Caution: This profile may include potentially sensitive content. So no surprises again it's NSFW and is grim).

Are multi accounts allowed? Anyway it’s def all the same person. And the third account still has the video

Imagine being an autogynephile? Shudder
It must be absolutely the shittest of the shittest

I imagine most AGPs are perfectly comfortable with themselves. Most men with paraphilias are quite content with it and don't care about other people's thoughts.

DpWm · 22/07/2019 10:11

Twitter is run by TRAs/MRAs so I'm not surprised at all by this situation.

DanaPhoenix · 22/07/2019 11:15

Ugh. Not clicking the link.

My crystal ball predicts a job at the NSPCC in their future 🤢

Redshoeblueshoe · 22/07/2019 11:18

Dana I thought it was going to be the NSPCC man

DanaPhoenix · 22/07/2019 11:21

So did I initially but that's old hat now. They have to keep pushing the envelope. Seriously though the amount of pervs and predators twitter turns a blind eye to is mind boggling.

ShagMeRiggins · 22/07/2019 11:49

Twitter’s commitment to us, from CEO Jack Dorsey.

Yeah, cheers mate.

Aaarrgghhh · 22/07/2019 15:53

But it never happens.. Confused

breakfastpizza · 22/07/2019 17:57

I stumbled onto a vile, racist, sexist account posting some of the most horrific garbage I've seen in a long time. Not even a question it broke Twitter rules (as well as hate laws).

Reported the account and as many tweets as I could. A couple were deleted, but the account remains live and active. Someone needs to create an alternative site, because the tech boys behind it don't give a F---.

LimpLettice · 22/07/2019 19:59

I've been suspended for 'hateful conduct' for suggesting castration might actually be an appropriate judicial consequence for men who commit acts of illegal perversion in public places after reporting that video. Angry

WelshMoth · 27/07/2019 07:35

LimpLettice - yet I'm guessing the video still remains? Sickening.

It really speaks volumes about the mods on Twitter. I've just deleted Twitter from my phone to have a break for a while again. My head was fried after seeing that and I need a break from it all.
