Apparently Bojo is planning on making David Davis either Home Secretary or chancellor? If so, that could be great news for feminism. With Davis as Home Secretary, surely the whole prison issue will be resolved ?

Which David Davis? The gender-critical one is the less well-known one and I suspect Johnson is talking about the other one.

There are two Tory MPs with almost identical names:

David Davis ... the former Brexit Minister who is a friend of Johnson

David TC Davies, who has been supporting some of the women's meetings.

They have spelt “Davis” without the “e”, which is the gender critical one!

Is he gender critical though? He’s certainly got courage and basic common sense regarding trans issues conflicting with women’s rights. Not sure if it really comes from being GC though?
