This caught my eye after reading about the other police officer this week.

Is the sentence 15 years in jail in Antigua?

He was extradited so looks like he'll be having an interesting 15 years in that place. Can't say I've got a lot of sympathy for him.

Somehow it does feel even worse when it is someone you should be able to trust. I am impressed by the strength of the woman.

From an article in the Sun:

“His extradition, which was approved by Home Secretary Sajid Javid, was the first time a UK citizen has been extradited to Antigua to face criminal charges.

The Antiguan authorities said they would hold him at the old naval base because his lawyers said the notorious 1735 national prison in Antigua was inhumane.

It is not clear where Martin-Cramp will serve his sentence and his lawyers are expected to request that he do so in the UK.”

He committed the crime in Antigua probably because he thought it would be easier to get away with it. He should serve his sentence there.
