We joke about the analogy but YouTube has a lot to answer for not least crazy contouring makeup beacon faces

I recently watched a well known YouTube trans man talking animatedly about now going on hormone blockers as well as testosterone etc in order to stop their body clearly trying to break through the testosterone regime and menstruate.

If you didn't know how damaging these drugs were and fairly young and either trans or supportive of the ideology, you'd be nodding along thinking, obviously a good idea plus the dr says so, so it's all ok, or even thinking, ok I'll do that if I need to etc.

YouTube is the opium of the masses.
