Off to Dublin in a few weeks - just wondering if anyone knows the legal status of self-id, right to sex segregated toilets etc? I know Transgender Trend, Standing for a Women etc have information about the right to these things in the UK...just wondering if anyone has info on the equivalent for Ireland before I start stickering toilets to say they should be women only?

(I’m going to an event that is likely to be full of very very woke geeks so don’t dare wear my AHF t shirt until the last day)...

I live in Dublin and the places I tend to be don't have unisex toilets. I think the universities may have gone down that road - there was some "debate" when UCD was looking at it - but I don't know the detail. So if you're going to be in a university maybe. Then again, I'm in my 50s so probably not frequenting the same venues as the young/woke. I doubt you'll need many stickers tbh but no harm in having a few with you!

Maybe this answers some of your questions:
