Tom Swarbrick is on his way up the mountain, I swear. He keeps returning to the issue and his tone is slowly but surely changing over time - esp in regard to self-id, but still stuck on the "be nice" angle.
Last night an item about Dr Mackereth (he that got sacked for not Ma'am-ing). Asks whether callers would address a 6' man with a beard as "she". Notably all callers were male!:
(annoyingly TS repeatedly mixes up gender/sex; and also misrepresents what intersex is. I am going to contact him with useful links. And also point out the likely reasons women are not calling!)

Andrew: agrees that self-id is the issue, but points out it is not on to expect people to go along with "fantasies" (of any kind, inc trans-ness). Mentions the infiltration of mixed messages in schools. Cannot change from male to female (genetically).

Keith: agrees with self-id issues. Has a 35yo (gay) son transitioning and says it was "hard work" to get used to. Son didn't mind when dad accidentally deadnamed him. Says he was always 'feminine' (would prefer a hairbrush over a gun!). Sees him as "a woman, but..." (s)he can be "bitchy".

Farah (tw): Says Dr M should be "professional" and is just "making a point to save his bacon" about the 6' guy with a beard. Farah claims to know "thousands and thousands" of trans people and "goes to all the events". Says "nobody who is tw has a beard". Says Tom's line is "utterly offensive" as "nobody would ever have a beard". Continues to cherry pick by suggesting Tom compared them to animals. Tom points out that Farah (post surgery transsexual rather than tg) is different to self-id'd. Farah is having none of it and says they are self id's as they don't have a GRC. Says Dr M used his religion to hide his bigotry. Agrees he can have his view but not when treating people. Farah says they class themselves as a woman, as much as born female (not trans w). States "facts": EVERYONE who is trans suffers with gender dysphoria from birth - they bought illegal testosterone to try and "beat" their "horrible" GD and "constant persecution". Uses the gender spectrum idea - alpha male to feminine female, cites intersex. Talks of something in the womb happening. Says a natal woman can have their opinion if they disagree with Farah's opinion. Says their previous maleness is "part of their life". Says since transition they have lost their stable job and had 5 jobs in 5 years due to the persecution. Says everyone is using falsehoods like "access to female changing rooms" and "pervert", every day in the papers.

Nick: asks if Dr M would have been sacked if he'd said "basic bio fact" not religion. Why should people have to ignore biology?

Ed: Dissolved into a homophobic weirdo rant about the "LGBTXYZ agenda"/rainbows/sodomy/perversions. Does point out at the end that even if he has parts chopped off, he'll still be a male, but with parts chopped off; and there are males and females and no need to be Einstein to work out which is which.
- Barbara (tw): fully transitioned tw, is married as "Mrs" etc. Considers themselves a woman, but never "matches" themselves against born women. There is a big difference and respects that. Then says born as a woman with male outsides.
- John: Dr raising his perception above the patients needs, then goes off an a tangent about a bearded Sikh lady, pointing out women can otherwise remove hair etc; and what would the Dr say to her etc. Got cut off mid-speech.
