can choose their gender and get hormone injections to better suit their preferred role

Well, they went and said it. Gender Roles are what's important.

Yes all about stereotypes and roles.

How exactly does chopping your breasts of make you better at performing any role?

I'm no expert but have read articles regarding puberty blockers effecting mental development as well as physical- surely that is more detrimental to performance in all aspects of life.

This has made me wonder. Could a small chested woman go to a gender clinic and get breast enlargement to help them better fit their chosen gender? Or a man with a small penis get enlargement at a gender clinic?

Jellylegsni · 10/07/2019 13:39

Namechanging I have wondered that too. My identity is that of a 26 year old who has never been pregnant. Nature cruelly disagrees. Inner me identifies very differently to outer me. My breasts in particular do not match my identity.

IMO Spain and Latin American countries are more honest about the gender roles thing because they are more rigid about those roles in the first place. In cultures with a lot of machismo and that are rather proud of the way they enforce sex role differentiation, there's no reason to pretend transition isn't about roles.

It's really primarily in the English-speaking world that gender roles are seen as so hugely un-woke that it's verboten to connect them to the trans phenomenon.
